Festivals
The Brisbane Showgrounds is the city’s most popular festival location, due to its large range of versatile venues.
With 15 separate venues to choose from, plus the option of combining them to create a larger space, the Showgrounds can easily cater for festivals of all tastes and sizes.
Popular festival Oktoberfest Brisbane, which attracts around 35,000 people, has been utilising venue spaces such as the Marquee, Showring 2, Sideshow Alley and the Plaza for almost a decade.
In the Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC), the Halls allow festivals to be held with staging, lighting and seating to create an environment to suit. There is easy access for sound and staging equipment via the loading dock, along with dressing rooms for the artists.

Marquee 1

Marquee 1 is a large undercover space located in Sideshow Alley. It’s a well-known music festival venue and is also perfect for exhibitions. The Marquee is easily accessible via Bowen Bridge Road and O'Connell Terrace.

Main Arena
