With a love for creating joyful moments and memories, Jago gravitated towards hospitality from a young age. He started his career as an apprentice chef at 15 and remained in the kitchen for seven years.
Jago knew he wanted to move to front of house when he began cooking live for customers in restaurants, where he would enjoy sharing his knowledge and telling stories as he cooked.
Jago worked in front facing senior management roles in the hospitality industry before landing a sales role, and has never looked back. His previous roles include Rooms Division Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing, most recently for the Brisbane Marriot and Sofitel Brisbane prior to the Brisbane Showgrounds, as well as projects for the Commonwealth Games, Olympics and G20.
