Anita has been working in the events industry for more than 10 years, seven of those with the Brisbane Showgrounds.
She is known for building strong client relationships, as she truly understands each unique venue space at the Showgrounds and how they fit the client’s needs.
Prior to her role as Business Development Manager, Anitaworked in different areas of hospitality which has given her great insight into running a successful event.
Jill is incredibly passionate about the Brisbane Showgrounds brand she represents.
With a focus on bringing events to life, Jill is known for wowing clients by takingthem outside the box of what they think they can achieve at this diverse venue.
With more than 15 years' experiencein the events industry, Jill has held multiple roles from organising events for Austereo, Brisbane Roar and Sunsuper to coordinating and selling events at venues such as Brisbane City Hall and Sofitel Brisbane Central.
Anina has a Masters of Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management from the University of Queensland which she earned with Distinction in 2016.
She has more than four years' experience in sales, having worked with corporate clients to facilitate events, sponsorship and procurement contracts.
Outside of work, Anina is an independent theatre producer, writer, director and performer in her own right. Her unique blend of business and creativity allows her to support clients in the events industry by creatingthat perfect balance between corporate objectives and imaginative flair.
Cat has more than 20 years' experience in hospitality and events including working on high-profile events such as the G20, AFC Asian Cup and Australian Ladies Masters.
The connection with people is what Cat enjoys most about the industry. Her wealth of experience allows her to work very closely with clients, connecting them with the rightvenue space to suit their needs and offering them advice on how they can enhance their event.
Her previous roles include Director of Meetings and Events for Crown Plaza Hotels and Sofitel Brisbane Central.
Alicia has been involved in the hospitality and events industry for more than 25 years.
She brings a true passion for the industry to her role, always striving to exceed client expectation and ensuring events are both memorable and successful.
For the past 13 years, Alicia has been dedicated to learning everything she possibly can about the events industry. This includes her current role as the Queensland branch chair for Meetings and Events Australia (MEA). MEA is the Australian event industry’s largest professional organisation.
